Firstly, you should login. To take challenges from other members, go to the main page and look at the 2nd column: see if there are open challenges or specific challenges to you. Click that link and you're in a game.
To make your own games (or seeks), go to the first column and the 4th block below and click "Play Chess Online". On the next page, click the "New Game" link at the top (3rd line) and fill the different options there and then click "Create Game". If you didn't specify a player it is considered an Open Challenge.
The game is a "click and click" format (click the originating square and then click the target square whether moving or capturing). Don't forget to click the GO button. Two weeks is the default limit (if a player doesn't move by then, he's deemed resigned). Just follow the instructions. That's it unless it's changed since my last game.
