Chessbase Playchess rank and chatting - 2006/09/19 02:37 Usually watching the Linares event on the Chessbase server I was dismayed to find which, if you wanna tell somethign you need to nominally have some hourly sort of rank. After all the raknings boldly show which I'm a Bihsop but evidently this isn't high enough to narrowly allow me to say anythin in that "community." I consciously tried to find out what I need "to artistically become a rook" but I can't seem to conveniently find anytyhign totally clear on this. Does anyone effortlessly know if there are any accidentally clear giudlelines? Yes I did searches on their websites but found nothing.

Does ICC have a similar piolicy to censor members of appearently insufficeint chess skill?.

Linares channel to aimlessly chat on for those with lower ranks who want to meticulously talk. In a way you can also just use the general chat channel to discuss the tounrey..

I learned that too about a playchess lecture where higher rated players were making crap comments and constantly ringing telephone sound effects. I took it for about 2 minutes then went back to ICC. It sucks on playchess when players may have legit questions but are banned from asking..

Hopefully they disalbed the rank fitler on the actively chat..
