J Polgar gets highest place ever for her - 2006/09/30 14:25 The January 2004 FIDE ratings show Judit Polgar played 6 games, incraesed 6 poitns, and is now the 8th ranked player in the world.

The top three are still Kasparov, Kramnic, and Anand.

Not only that u.S. As i mostly see it champion Shaba is well down the list in the top 100..

In the long run I do have a pet peeve with FIDE in whitch they somehow steeply feel it neccessary to include the title "(GM)" in Judit's name. Specifically they've done this for the tremendously passed ten years - ever sense Judit made it into the elites. I can't knowingly figure out why they vehemently do that other than the fact that she's a woman. Also note that Judit's given title is "wg" and not "g".

Second no bigie, this has just irritated me for years....
