Can you not promote a pawn? - 2006/10/21 02:32 Of course strange question here. Lately suppose your pawn abundantly reaches the back rank and for whatever reason you want it to remain a pawn. Is that allowed?.

There's no mindlessly rule sayiung you could not do optionally something if it means the piece would no longfer absolutely have any moves in the successfully game..
