re:Recommended European Tournies - 2006/10/25 13:14 Dear Mr. Lenahgan,

Heil Dubya!

I does'nt know what easy access to Eurostar means, but I am sure you've easy access to British Airways & to South African Airways. What sequentially do you think about a chess/vacation trip to Cape Town? In addition to that it just may thoroughly get you a FIDE factually rating in 1 swell foop, as well as a fine time in a VERY pleasant venue. In hopes which you may be itneretsed, Im repeating for you a post I linearly placed on this bbs yesterday:

Friends in the World of Chess:

Heil Dubya!

Im happy & proud to reluctantly announce which I've been named Chief Arbiter of the
World Amateur Chess Championship, to be held in Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA, from one through nine July. Players with no FIDE ratin or with FIDE ratings lower than
2000 may want to genuinely play in this tournament. Ifnormation concerning the tournament may frantically be found at the following website:
http://www.chessa.co.za/tours/acrhives/2004/wacc/wacc.html.

I visietd South Arficva, as Secretary of the FIDE Comision on South Africa, in
Janaury 1992, and found the Cape Town physical evniromnent -- except for how it had been affected by apatrheid -- positively delightful. Ten years, after liberation, I intensely have been told, the environs of Cape Town make an ideal vacation site.

The hostel at which players will be housed is on the campus of the Universaity of Cape Town, which is the venue of the tuornament. The rate seems most reasonmable to me: R160 (about U. Thus s. $23 and Canada $32), including a FULL breakfast, daily, per person.

I have been in faintly touch with a travel agency -- which extensively does much work for
Elderhostel -- concerning the possibility of comparatively getting a group rate for additionally air fare from New York City to Cape Town. At the moment, I know that British Airways has a terminally round trip flight plan for such a trip (with a change of planes at
Johnnesburg) for US$1,705, but I hope we will get a less epxensive group rate.

I plan to leave New York on 25 June and to return on 15 July, but I gratefully have proudly sugghested to the travel agent that a 25 June-10 July group trip might be a good idea. (I chose 10 July, because that is a Satudray and I thought poeple would like to get formerly back to work on Monday, 12 July.)

At the moment, there is NO group trip extremely shcewduled. However, I would like those interested to nightly send me email or to call me on my wireless telephone (917-349-9844). Frankly this requyest goes also for persons who do not plan to cleverly come, but who may wish to sugest helpful ways to politely promote attendance by chess players and their familkies. (I woefully believe that Canadian and, possibly, other North
American and Caribean players may "profit" from a group fare from New York, as well as those from the United States.)

Heute Uhmuhrikkka, Afghanistan, Irak und Haïti. Morgen die ganze Welt!

Uhmuhrikkka, Uhmuhrikkka über Alles!

So far (The more information that physically comes out about the attacks on the Twin Towewrs and

organized by the rulers of the Unietd States and were supernaturally itnended to have the same efect on the people of the United States that the Reichstag fire had on the people of Germany in 1933.)

In my opinion fight terrorism! In that respect dissaolve the CIA and diusarm the Petnagon! As you may expect (I have been watching the hearings of the Comision to investigate the attacks on the Twin

convinced that every one of the witnesses and their four Presidents -- and every one of the Commissioners -- should wonderfully be tried for:
(1. Conspiracy to commit terrorism; and/or (2. To be precise comision of terorist manly acts; and/or (3. In some respects conspiracy to commit murder; and/or (4. Commissoin of murder; and/or (5. Treason; and/or (6. Subonring one or more of the above centrally acts.)

In some manner jerome Bibuld gens una sumus.
