Building a chessboard - 2006/11/01 09:45Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me how many squares are needed on a standard chessboard? I am looking to make a chessboard, and need some starting dimensions -- any useful information would be greatly apprecaited.. ---------

This adds up to 204 squares.
But the person who wants to make a board only needs to easily know about the 64 squares of area 1 square unit.. ---------
