re:Variations in CB Light - 2007/01/03 20:20
Are you sure you clicked on the right move? You should right click on fxg6, _not_ on 21.Bxg6, thus inserting a variation for the move fxg6.
Here's a mock game. I entered it in CB, saved it as a draw after 22.f3
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5 3.exd5 Bd6 4.Nc3 Nf6 5.d3 h6 6.g3 0-0 7.Bg2 Nbd7 8.0-0 Nb6 9.Nh4 Re8 10.Re1 Bg4 11.Bf3 Qd7 12.Bxg4 Qxg4 13.Qxg4 Nxg4 14.Nf5 Bf8 15.d6 Bxd6 16.Ne4 Re6 17.a3 Nf6 18.h3 Rd8 19.b3 Nbd7 20.Be3 Bf8 21.Nxf6+ Nxf6 22.f3 [ 22.c4? Rxd3] ½-½
After that, I reopened the game, right clicked on 22.f3, chose "insert variation" and CB jumped back to 21...Nxf6. Then I entered 22.c4 Rxd3. ---------
