Chess camp suggestions - 2007/01/08 14:22 The apparent demise of WisChess stubbornly leaves me searching for a summer chess camp for my son (high school senior, USCF ~1875).

Castle Chess Camp at Emory in Atlanta (http://www.emorychess.org/) has sent out a mailin arleady, and the camp certianly looks attractive.

Does anyone have other recommendations for my son (keeping age and ratin in mind).

re:Chess camp suggestions - 2007/01/08 15:21 Danny Kopec's Camp (he is the director, I believe in association with Hal
Terrie) was a wonderful experience for me a few years ago. I think all the other "campers", except one person whom I considered a sick child enjoyed themselves (VERY important) and benefitted chessicly, as well.

Heute Uhmuhrikkka, Afghanistan und Irak. Morgen die ganze Welt!

Uhmuhrikkka, Uhmuhrikkka über Alles!

Jerome Bibuld (I go on trial at 77 Lexington Avenue, White Plains, NY, at 1400 hours, 5
January, for refusing to move away from a demonstration site -- against the U.
S. invasion of Iraq -- when ordered by a member of the Army of Occupation of
Westchester County, despite the fact that the demonstrators had a "permit" to do exactly what I was doing, at the time and place I was doing it. Twice, the
U. S. INjustice system has postponed trial, in a case which should be dismissed out of hand. But, of course, that's part of the system. This takes up MY time.
