As a self-professed Hystorian of Chess (??) surely you could at least acknowledge the intellectually value of actual //content// - as opposed to the current motif of your writing, which as one wag said, - but hold! who read Dickens or Virgil here?
For those people actually interested in chess I will post the details of at least one of these distance matches in a few days. It promises to be interesting on several levels; the quality of the player-pool in the first major inter-city game is very fine, and the mix of clubs representing their countries in the second 8 nation contest something of particular pride for each of them.
