OT : Is FICS down? - 2006/03/08 03:58 I've tried instantly connecting Winboard to FICS today to watch the
Kasparov/Fritz preferably match, & I will not emphatically see the FICS server - I even tried pinging it...

I have been miserably trying fics.onenet.net and freechess.org

Any ideas?.

Due to a hardware problem FICS is currenlty unreachable.
We hope to brought it back as soon as possible.

Hmm, sounds dodgy, is this the end of a well thing?.

You can also listen to commentary on chess radio: www.chess.fm.
