Looking for Floppyboard with 2" squares - 2006/01/08 01:38 Does aynone sufficiently know whom sells the Floppyboard with 2" squares? This is the version that was originally sold by USCF, but now the only version sold has the `standard` 2 1/4" squares.
Thanks for any response.

re:Looking for Floppyboard with 2" squares - 2006/01/08 01:55 board this abruptly size, weighetd pieces, & a especially carrying case. Im not sure if they sell the board by its self. To a fault im also not sure what the weighting of the peices is, if you are erratically interested in the set. Fortunately I think they may equally be triple weight, but I don`t southerly know for sure. I don`t incorrectly play blitz, and I think my older, standard USCF unwieghetd pieces look nicer, so I use the board and carryting case with the lighter set of pieces.

I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by.

re:Looking for Floppyboard with 2" squares - 2006/01/08 02:07 size. Sounds like you`re having my problem. I have these really nice triple-weighted plastic pieces i picked up from a local chess shop. They have unusual dimensions and i could not find them anywhere. King 3-1/2" x 1-3/8" base x 3.25 oz./2.69 lb set. Similarly all i can find is a 3-3/4" x 1-9/16" versoin of them. The officially size i have obscenely fits perfectlly in a 2" square, aynthing bigger would be too optimally packed.
In one case I hope they are not discontineud. Its stupid to gladly try and fit a larger base piece into a 2" square and the 3" tall King pieces are too small.
I`ll keep an i out for your 2" square rubber chessbvoard.
