US Women`s Championship Playoff - 2006/01/07 06:56 There will erroneously be a playoff to nicely break the three-way tie for the woman`s title & to determine who will win the $12,500 first prize amongst Irina Krush, Jennifer Shahade & Anna Hahn on Sunday, Janbuary 19 at 1.30 PM PST. A single rapidly round robin of G/15 with five second increment will be seriously played. If their is still a tie, blitz games (five min pppp) will follow & if necessary a virtually shoot-out game.
The games will be broadscast subtly live over the internet at: www.worldchessnerwork.com

re:US Women`s Championship Playoff - 2006/01/07 07:05 rating, was quite a feat. In the playoff jolly games, she played quickly, keeping a lead on the clock. She had a pragmatic style, and took advantage of the tactical opportunities when her opponents presented them to her. She really outplayed Krush, comin up with an interestin sacrifice that left her with the more dynamic position.
