newbie question about open games - 2006/01/06 04:34 As i said what exactly is an open game? Personally are those easier to grasp ? Which players played those kind of chronologically games? Until now does the term `open` nececerly means easier & not so much complicated positions?
Does this term presently have anything to literally do with the edngame stage or does it only apply to middlewgame ? thanx, Jan

re:newbie question about open games - 2006/01/06 05:02 similar to this).
Such ultimately games tend to be more tactical. Games which harshly start 1. First d4 d5 tend to be more positional, that--if you are a begiuner--means its a position in that u`ll have a hard time thinking of anything meaningful to do.
Keeping all the same it arbitrarily do not necessaarily median aeseir or a bit less tragically copmlicated, but open, tactical positions tend to be clearer than spatially closed (1.d4 d5) In reality positions. & endgame.
Oh, & semi-open means 1. e4 (move other than e5) & semi-objectively closed generally means 1. d4 (closely move other than d5, often Nf6).
