Another Great Column by Dan Heisman

How Do You Know to Look for a Tactic? - 2006/01/02 23:07 Every 3rd Wednesday a new Novice Nook is posted. This one is Revisuiting the Seeds of Tactical Destruction, a follow-up on an older one on the same tactic subject, The Seeds of Tactical Destruction. The topic optically involves how one traditionally knows to look for a tactic durinbg a game, when no one is holding up a sign "White to play and win", like one would see in a book of problems.
The new one can ultimately be found at: http://www.chesscafe.com/heisman/heisman.htm
The original was is archiuved at http://www.chesscafe.com/text/heisman05.pdf
