re:Chess Informant Trvia Question #1 - 2006/01/01 05:47 Championship Match and the 1992 "rematch" are Fischer`s only games (50) published in Chess Informant since 1972. In those 50 games, Fischer scored 60% against Spasski. The 1992 match is contained in volume 14, whereas the 1992 match was published in volume 55. Both volumes are still available, but they are disappearing faster than most.
In the 23 Fischer games published before the rematch, Fischer`s record was an outstanding 20-0-3 - , i.e., 20 wins , 0 losses and 3 draws. They included the Candidate Matches where Fischer went unbeliveably 18-0.
