re:Marek`s 1.b4 world - 2005/12/29 04:53
time I desided to try something a little bit different. Leopold Ofresh,V (1450) - Lacrimosa,L (1665) [A00] Sunday Action Phoenix, Arizona (2), 08.12.2002 [Lacrimosa,Leopold] 1.b4!? The Orangutan. 1...Nf6 2.Bb2 e6 3.b5 c5 4.e3 Be7 5.Nf3 0-0 6.Be2 a6 7.a4 b6 8.0-0 Qc7 9.d3 Bb7 10.Nbd2 d6 11.c4 Nbd7 12.Qb3 a5 13.Rad1 Rad8 14.h3 Rfe8 15.Rfe1 Nf8 16.Bf1 Ng6 17.g3 d5 18.Bg2 e5! 19.e4 d4 Locks up the position. 20.Bc1 My opponent offers up a draw, so I accept. This position is not condusive to a thrity minute game. Both of use with less than ten minutes each on the clock. Better if we had two hours to think. ?-? ---------
For the want of a nail, the shoe was lost; for the want of a shoe the horse was lost; and for the want of a horse the rider was lost, being overtaken and slain by the enemy, all for the want of care about a horseshoe nail.
