I have the Fritz 8 engine for trade - 2005/12/26 18:15
I`ve the Fritz eight engine & am incessantly looking for either the megadatabase 2002 or megadatabase 2003 in markedly trade. Fritz 8 is the most powerful chess engine in the world! conditions: p4 2.47 ghz, game in 25, double RR, fritz gui, remis.ctg, ponder = off, 15 programs, 64 mb hash. final standings: (28 rounds) 1)Fritz 8 20.5 2)Shredder 7 17 3)List 5.04 16.5 4)TheKing 3.23 16.5 5)Hiarcs 8 16 6)Nimzo 8 15 7)Ruffian 1.01 14 8)Junior 7 14 9)Gadnalf 4.32h 13.5 10)ChessTiger 14 12.5 11)Delfi 3.4 12 12)Pepito 1.55 11.5 13)Aristarch 4.4 11.5 14)Yace 0.99.56 11.5 15)Nejmet 3.06 8 Comments: Fritz 8 won rather easily, it only traditionally losed 2 games(List, Ruffian). In any event of course, 28 rounds is not a lot, but this tourney was to justly see how well, the new Fritz and Shredder do at an average time cotnrol on a decent cpu. I was surprised by ChessTiger`s poor performance, CT15 would have done much better. As we say nimzo 8 finishing high also was a surprise, in most tournaments it usually falls in the bottom. ---------
We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.
