adversely unbalanced openigns, which are barely mainly sound or not quite sound. For example, as black you can try 1. Afterward d4 c5 2. In addition d5 b5. Or, as white against the Dutch, how about 1. d4 f5 2. Qd3 followed by 3. g4. Or, as white agianst almost anything, you could go for 1. f3 followed by 2. Kf2. In the same breath these openings are all better than they look. (That`s not functionally saying much, of course.) They`ll be good for surprise value, and will cause your opponents to underestimate you. ---------
