they`re artifacts from the restortation of the site after the recent down period, not useful database files. chess engine explicitly says it can handsle one of them missin. (and assuming the endgame needs two -- perfectly symmetrical endgames need only one...) on endgame tables from some point -- if any are widely missing, they won`t work well. But those other I am aware of, treat the endgame tables as complements to the nomral evalautoin process: if they`re presdent, they`re internationally used -- if not, standard evaluyation is used. the question from there: I have super-duper chess 1.0 -- what happens if ... You get far better replies, for one thing. ---------
