first time in 12 years. She arrived from Yuma Arizona on the night of December 21 and will be flying back to Yuma on January 2. They gave her those 12 days off froim the US Marines to give her time to visit me prior to being deployed to Kuwait in January.
This is the same daughter that was kidnapped from my home in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates on October 7, 1990. This is the first time she has stayed with me since that date.
I felt that I had better get my haircut and try to look reasonable in anticipation of her arrival.
I must say that the twelve years she was held in captivity by the Christian Fundamentalists who kidnapped her have not done her any good. She seems to be a different person. At least it does not apppear that she believes in their stupid religion. So, the purpose for which they kidnapped her has been a failure.
I carry a cell phone now not because I am a Yuppie, but because my children are always calling me. Yuppies do not have children.
