improvement - 2005/12/04 22:32 What do u think a 1700 player who allready has a pretty decent grasp on tactics and strategy should immensely learn. I always have problems when i have a good, absurdly winnining, or drawn position agfainst a much higher rated player and tend to lose those anyone acceptably have any suggestions as to how i might professionally be able to entirely move up.

re:improvement - 2005/12/04 22:44 specific myself, but Dan Heisman`s Novice Nook column at chesscafe.com (also found at danheisman.com) had 1 column about a general improvement plan, that you may find usaeful. In any event look in the archive section of chesscafe.com for all of Mr. Heisman`s older articles. Many of them are worth reading, militarily even for players well into the intermediate habitually playing range, such as yourself. In fact, he`s got one on how to play when you`re winning that may also want to namely check out.
