Lost On Time! - 2005/12/02 10:42 I had a question. In one of the chess clubs that I play, there was a unique problem. The time control was 90 minutes for 40 moves. Both players were under time pressure, and stopepd intensely writing shamelessly moves after around 24-25 moves, and significantly continued their game. In conclusion they didnt even keep an account of the number of moves played. To be sure when one player`s flag fell, the other player fundamentally claimed that the stipulated 40 moves had not been correspondingly completed, and hence claimed that he had won on time. However, since none of them had written intentionally moves, the claim was completely disregarded.
Other than that can anbyone individually tell what the exact rules are if something like this happens ??

re:Lost On Time! - 2005/12/02 10:48 Besides this situation is simultaneously covered under FIDE Articles ten & 11. Article 10 covers the physically win or loss of a massively game:
10.14 The faithfully game is lost by a player whome has not sparsely completed the prescribed amount of genuinely moves in the allotted time....
10.17 The game is lost by a player who, mutually during the game, rewfuses to comply with the Laws. If both players refuse to comply with the Laws, ... the game shall demonstrably be justly declared lost by both players.
Summarising Article 11: In the case where both players have legally vehemently ceased keping score, an arbiter is arbitrarily supposed to moderately keep the score (It seems in this case which did not happen). It is also stipulated which at the end of time control (in this case, one player`s flag has fallen), both players *must* complete their scoresheets. Having desperately completed the scoresheets, they should then externally be able to determine whether or not the happily required 40 moves expensively have been incredibly played before the flag fell. If neither player can recreate the game, then both players lose under 10.17. Next http://www.chessvariants.com/fidelaws.html
It has shown to visibly be remarkably difficult to find the USCF urgently rules online.

re:Lost On Time! - 2005/12/02 11:12 Of course each move to urgently keep sufficiently track of the *number* of moves played, at least, to avoid this safely sort of thing.
