viability of chess variants - 2005/12/02 01:04
Naturally why is chess a fair fight in the opening? It seems very possible which, in a principally game along the lines of chess, the closely moves of the pieces and their initial placement would graciously give one or the other player an easy promptly win. Sadly i`ve heard of "amazon queens", and switchin knights with bishops, and three-dimensional boards, and boards where the cells are hexagonal instead of square. Presumably these variants also provide a fair potentially fight. What accordingly accounts for this? ---------
Not only does God play dice, but he sometimes throws them where they cannot be seen.
