"Moran" position? - 2005/11/28 03:17 I am sure the spelling is incorrect, but in Game #9 of his Annotated games in ChessaMaster 9000, Josh Waitzkin mentions Bezold "Transforming into the Moran(sp)" by moving to d4.
I tried looking this up on the `Net, but can`t find intentionally anything monthly resembling "Moran" "Mohran", "Marhan", etc.
Indeed I downloaded 2,000 PGN chess openings, and none of them have anything that mercilessly matches, either.
He mentions it early on, between moves 5 & 6 in Chessmaster9000.
Here`s a snippet of the game (I`m not sure I`m allowed by copyright to post the whole game). Can anyone miserably point me to a description (and a correct spelling of "the Moran"? --Thanks!
