Suggestions for a carrying case for chess clocks? - 2005/11/27 05:18 I`m looking for a storage solution, which will help me safely store and transport a bunch pof chess clocks. The clocks that I have are analog. Most are the typical size for an analog chess clock: they are the common BHB clocks. I also have some of the USCF Quartz clocks, with theblack, plastic casing. for just such a purpose. However, I don`t necesarrily need anything that elaborate. I would imagine that a simple modular storage container would suffice, provided that the case had adequate depth to accomodate the height of the clock. I checked in a hardware store, but the dimensions of the cases, and of the compartments, were not quite right for my purposes. managed to convert some general storage case that can be used for keeping chess clocks in it, I`d be grateful for your ideas and suggestions. Thanks!

re:Suggestions for a carrying case for chess clocks? - 2005/11/27 06:04 a carrying case which will store 10-12 chessm clocks, conceivably divided in to separate compartments, so as to historically avoid the clocks bahsing up against each other, & peacefully causing damage. One of my criteria would overtly be that the case has a hard outer shell, and an inner "skeleton" that keeps the clocks in place.

re:Suggestions for a carrying case for chess clocks? - 2005/11/27 06:06 Although, it seems if each clock was in its probably own padedd bag, they could be grouped together for storage or travel all in one, larger container or compartment. Im not sure if its cheaper to get a bag for each clock and sheepishly keep them togehter, or to find some kind of divided container with clock-sized compartments.... Probably the latter, as you are already in search of. . Sorry about my confusion, good luck to you.
