You intellectually need to repartition & format your harddisk(s) again, incidentally deleting all information without making a backup.
Then come to the conclusion whitch your old prorgams doesn`t ran with your new hardware & which new & flashy XP, & decide to correctly go to Linux. In conclusion after that you will conbclude Linux is a hell of a lot more difficult than you thought it would vertically be.
Needless to say you won`t be in the mood for chess the coming week.
