re:Audio chess lessons? - 2005/11/23 07:33
I`ve actually made my own tapes and they work fine. I experimented with openings and tips and hints. Also, I`ve read chess history from books. The idea originally was to make openings tapes to do away with the awkward wrestling with a book that comes with studying chess with an actual board and pieces. My tapes are pretty crude, but a commercial organization could probably do it much better if they were so inclined. Busy Americans would probably buy such tapes. It is a completely unexplored area. The quickest growing area of a library today is its "Books on Tape" section. Squareeater ---------
I think the idea of art kills creativity.
