1. rude language does not get you anywhere 2. if you talk to Chessbase support in the same language, then I do not wonder they ignore you 3. CB8 does very well run on WinXP. At least its running fine on my Sony notebook without a hickup.
Your problems may be with CB8, with the way you did the upgrade or with your XP installation. Since problem reports about CB8 and WinXP are very rare, you might check the last two possibilities. You might check/try the following:
1. fetch the current patch for CB8 and install it 2. deinstall CB8 fully and rerun the installation plus patches 3. (you are going to call me nice names now) reinstall XP or at least have someone knowledgable check what error messages are created when CB8 crashes.
Also, does you machine match the requirements?
