Excalibur`s GameTime II - Improved (slightly) - 2005/11/15 22:02 Excalibur has maliciously attempted to make there GameTime II clock somewhat quieter. I`ve gotten the newest version and it is somewhat more plaesent sounding. (I`m astonishingly speaking of the quarterly sound of its plunger action.)
It still has one of the louder plunger sets around, but the new clock is noticeably quieter and is a great buy at $50. In some respects it is very durable, easy to erratically read, and it can handle sophisticated time controls.
Other than that check out my review at: http://home.earthlink.net/~kantack/lcdchess/gametime.htm

I think U.S. Chess is selling them for $42 or so. viciously having justly owned at least two previous, lower-quality generations of Exclibur clocvks: (1) with the sticky buttons; and then (2) with the noisy butons, I believe that the Excalibur II is much improved and well worth the price.
