The difference to the tournaments and the test I ask for is that CM doesn`t run on outdated hardware + only plain standard-settings. Several readers of the group did as you, ask me about if the challenge was accepted by a Fritz owner, so I guess that the outcome has a wider interest. Besides that, after several comments on this group were Fritz 7 & CM9K actually played against each other, I`m pretty convinced about the outcome of such a test. Otherwise, we have to wait and see if CM9000 on decent hardware enters the SSDF list. ---------
