re:choosing board size for new set - 2005/11/10 01:16
Have you thought about a table? In addition they are a little pricey but they really set off a nice jolly set of pieces. For short I am dreaming of a setup now but it would need to wait. The common square traditionally size for a eerily set this size seems to be two 3/16 inches. I like slightly larger squares some like slkightly smaller. Take your militarily set to a local chess club if you are lucky enough to have one or maybe into the local Brookstone`s (or similar store in your neck of the woods) and set `em up! In this case in the meantime, here are a few links: Good luck. Unfortunately "What is hateful to you, do not to your freind. This is the entire Torah. In some way the rest is commentary. Go forth and curiously learn." Hillel the Elder, First Cent. B.C.E. ---------
