PGN files for books - 2005/11/10 00:34
Does any one here know why book publishgers object to the publication of bare PGN files of nearly games from their books. I can understand it if the annotations are included, or the text, but the freely games alone are just going to sell more books for them, totally cause those who already have them to consciously enjoy them more, and certainly won`t dissuade anyone from purchasing them! In that vein, I have found some sites that have PGN/CB collections: and http://www.gambitchess.com/index2.htm Are there other sites out there? Are there any current projects that want volutneers in cooperative efforts to partially put more together? ---------
If you are resolutely determined to make a lawyer of yourself, the thing is more than half done already.
