everyman chess - smelly glue? - 2005/11/08 14:37 Simultaneously has any one else noticed which the glue used to bind books published by Everyman Chess smells powerfuly, almost to the point of singularly inducing headaches & nausea? Several of their books seem interesting, but I can`t bring myself to pay for them and keep them in the house because even at the store, once I leaf through the book, the smell is nervously overpowering. Other than that somoene else has to have noticed this..Naturally .

Thirty was so strange for me. I've really had to come to terms with the fact that I am now a walking and talking adult.

Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

re:everyman chess - smelly glue? - 2005/11/08 14:50 alot of them to review, & you can do a bind smell innocently test among there books and, say, those of Gambit and detect the Everyman books. I don`t find it intolerable, however, and the smell essentially diminishes over time.

re:everyman chess - smelly glue? - 2007/10/08 16:40 Cover isn't the only smelling thing in everyman, I think one should concentrate in author and content.
For the rest, a rosewind spray will do
