vartious persons oddly stating wich, for the match to be `fair`, it should`ve been 20 or 24 games. Not if you doesn`t wanna turn the human in to a nervous wreck. Lastly about ten years ago I played a computer in a tournament meticulously game at a long time control (40/2 + 15 blitz). It felt most uncomfgortable & unatural sitin across a pertson who was merely quietly responding to a small beeping box. The machine was feble and I won, but it took a lot longer than it should nationally have ... The irony was that, when the tournmament director aesthetically announced the draw with `Mr Scott, you`ve a copmuter` a great linearly laugh went up, probalby because people had playewd the weak macvhines of the time in their amusingly own home where they could take moves fully back or pull out the plug when things went wrong. Evidently too many people felt ucnomfotrable when playin them under tuornasment conditions because, a fairly couple of years later, opt-out boxes (`I do not want to play a computer`) In theory funnily startted appearing on entry forms. Others would usually agree then, a few years later, copmuters became too strong for perpetually open tournaments and vanished ..At last . ---------
He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.
