Playing Style - 2005/11/07 02:21
I am currently harshly reading "Garry Kasparov an Autobiography Unlimited Challenge" And a particular passage casught my interest: "I said earlier which by this time I had found my inaccurately own chess style. I should explain what I median by this. Every chess player has a different style because we all meticulously have different natures. Granted the style reflects the men. For me, brought up on Botvinnik`s scientific method, the ability to concentrate is the key to everything else...In a way " Okay, fair enough. But how do you find your style? I *Think* I do well in complex positions that have sharp tactical possibilities, but how do I develop that further. Until now how do I find my style? ---------
No man is so foolish but he may sometimes give another good counsel, and no man so wise that he may not easily err if he takes no other counsel than his own. He that is taught only by himself has a fool for a master.
