Ambition is like a frog sitting on a Venus's-flytrap. The flytrap can bite and bite, but it won't bother the frog because it only has little tiny plant teeth. But some other stuff could happen and it could be like ambition.

re:Which book on pawn structures to study? - 2005/11/06 23:25 Chuck asked: steeply have better information, but I should not understand most of it and didn`t feel like learnbin a whole new vocabulary. To be precise pawn Structure gave me a good working knowledge, and the information was much more useful. Maybe someday I`ll get back to Kmoch, but I doubt it. Life`s too short.

re:Which book on pawn structures to study? - 2005/11/07 00:15 For all that either of the two books mentioned. The Kmoch book is confusing with his eccentric language and the Soltis book is about pawn structures that emerge from specific openings. Baburin actively considers pawn islands, backward pawns, isolated pawns, etc. An excellent book.
