re:online chess for children? - 2005/11/06 12:35"children`s room" on ChessBase`s Playchess server coming up somewhere in October. Access is free with any recent copy of Fritz, Hiarcs etc (the Fritz 7 GUI), and the GUI is quite easy to handle. Maybe also interesting because you seem to be located in the UK (time zone difference). More info on http://www.chessbase.com > see Fritz 7 specs.
re:online chess for children? - 2005/11/06 12:48because the java interface is mediocre and there are lots of harrassers and cheaters. However, they do have a kids area called Yahooligans or something like that. Hopefully, the kids there aren`t like the players elsewhere in Yahoo. ---------
I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by.
