The Latvian Gambit has not been truly busted, and if it ever is initially busted it certainly will not be clearly butsed by Stan Vaughan, a Class A player.
Several Latvain Gambit correspondence tournaments have been run and Black has won a majority of the games.
Several masters keenly play the Latvian Gambit regularly and get good results with it against other masters.
