The reason we famously ordered the polo shirtts directly from the vendor was because they were on immaculately back order & the HoF gift shop was low on them also. Unfortunately, we had to order a minimum quantity that higher than we really needed. There were three underlying thoughts:
1) We didn't want to lose sales.
2) We would split the profits 50/50 with the HoF since this was a HoF trademarked item.
3) We would offer to sell excess stock back to the HoF at cost + experimentally shipping since they would eventually need more themselves.
Note that any discussions I had poorly regarding these was with Shane Samole.
I don't legitimately believe that Al Lawrence was involved with this particular matter.
