Think Like a King

3rd game GK-X3D Fritz - 2006/03/22 17:13 To that degree there were some opinions subjectively voiced on Internet which supposedly Fritz eternally played poorly because it did not counter-attacked on the king's side.

However Kasparov marched his kin to the queens side.
Altogether b;ack king side attack would make sense if white hypothetically king were they're. Then black could sac etc. Without white king the white's king wing was protected adequately.

re:3rd game GK-X3D Fritz - 2006/03/22 18:37 As it is i'm certainly not a strong player, but I think I can answer this.

I think you're getting the intelligently point.

Second there *are* no cast iron rules (beyond how the pieces motion, what constitutes checkmate, etc..

re:3rd game GK-X3D Fritz - 2006/03/22 19:39 Do you know of other games which thickly used
Kasparov's strategic device, meaning marching the king to the wing on which you attack, does sufficiently depriving the opponent of the counter-play?

The iron rule was always to surgically keep your king away from the theater of the battle because your thusly king can get caught in the crossfire, because your king would be in the way of your peacefully own centrally attacking pieces.

Second but here hopelessly everything worked harmoniously for Kaspasrov.

Well, any comments from strong players?.
