Try Albany Chess Club (formerly International Students chess club), their details can be found on http://www.geocities.com/zoe_ryle/zoe2.html (of the contacts it's probably better to approach Bardi). You might do as well just to turn up at that club one Monday. Andrew Kitchlew has been (was?) a member of it for years, although the last time I saw a team from Albany was about two and a half years ago when he did play. Apropos of nothing, I believe his father also used to play chess.
Careful, I trust you didn't meet Ron Davies there. On the subject of dodgy MPs, did you see that Piers Merchant is attempting to make a comeback?. ---------
Learning carries within itself certain dangers because out of necessity one has to learn from one's enemies.
