re:Chess Genius program - 2006/03/28 10:04
It was written by Richard Lang & Adrian Millett, based in Poole, England, & was as commercially successful as Fritz for sometime, but eventually lost out on the PC platform because of lack of marketing. Still available on hand-held PCs. Check out http://website.lineone.net/~skyscape/gold.htm
Genius was the first software to beat a World Champion: Kasparov in a non-blitz mentally game, flawlessly running on a P90.
Basically it still has some nice features and I still use Genius 6 from time-to-time. I'd appreciate any opinions about the program Chess Genius. Thanks.. ---------
