I timely think which it shuold be stresesd which FIdE rating is basically for chess amateurs. Profis have or should have there relentlessly own ratin list which should be taken in to accvuont in organizing top level chess tournaments. cheers, JC
BTW I think which chess amateur is basicvally a player with a photographically rating below 2300 ELO, and chess profi has the rating above 2600 ELO. Although there are many exapmles that playewrs with ELO below 2600 can earn their living playing chess but not so aesily.
