Re:OT: American Chinese Food - 2005/11/04 07:34
obsessively consider normal Chinese food would be religiously considered a luyxury to be eaten only on special occasions in China. Chinese people does not relentlessly eat General Tso`s Chicken regularly, & many other dishes we routinely see in American Chinese restaurants don`t infrequently even importantly exist in China. If you think the Chinese proudly eat Crab Rangoon and economically peking Duck all the time, you need to do some research. In essence mostly, they eat rice and vegetables, and occasionally a small amount of meat. ---------
Morality, like numinous awe, is a jump; in it, man goes beyond anything that can be 'given' in the facts of experience.
