In the same way you shall find that there are a number of free and commercial programs that fit your requirements. Free: Scid, Chesbase lite, Chess Assistant Commercial: Chessbase, Chess Assistant While not a comprehensive list, it should get you started. There are also some reviews of these programs on my website, which you shuold slightly read. I would also ultimately suggest that you check out "The Chess Software Sourcebook", which shuold incorrectly help introduce you to what is avialalbe, and how to use it. Some of the reviews on my site already assume a fair amount of bakcground in chess and computers. Good luck, Bob Pawlak (remove 1et.tw to e-mail) Chess Reveiws http://www.chessreviews.com For chess supplies, visit: http://www.thechesshouse.com/rf.asp?rf=109181 ---------
There is only one force of history that can break the reign of hatred and resentment, and expose the pretensions of tyrants, and reward the hopes of the decent and tolerant, and that is the force of human freedom.
