M & B Phantom Chess set - 2007/06/04 13:42
Just found a box in my garage. Phantom Computer Chess. I remember buying it in South Kensington on or about the date that BIBA opened!!! 1983/4 perhaps Complete with original power supply (someone asked about this - did they get a reply?) but no chess pieces. I understand the pieces to have magnetic bases. Can I still purchase them, or perhaps make up or get some made up for me? Please help if you can; if it can be made to work it will be put on display in our used book warehouse. As I recollect it used to gather crowds when placed in a shop window and charged with playing against itself.
