Good Chess? - 2007/12/13 00:28 This is a chess game I played about two minutes (4:17) ago. I want your opinions on the game. Namely, do you think it was a good game, and would you have changed anything?

Re:Good Chess? - 2007/12/13 20:45 I would recomend you try chessmaster 10th. edition
and go through their training program starting from the begining. It's a lot more intertaining than reading a book or until later down the road when you become stronger player.

Re:Good Chess? - 2007/12/14 19:22 I should not advice to play 1.Nc3, because it seems to be a violation of the normal opening rules, but the move in itself is very playable.
I should never play 2.d3, but 2.e4 or 2.d4 for the same reason. We try to get a foot in the centre. But if Black reacts with 2...h5, White's position is certainly better. 3.Ne4 is a violation of the next opening rule: never move the same piece twice in the opening. In addition the move is bad because we want to play 3.e4 or 4.e4 and now the Knight is in the way.

Does this kind of comments help you or are you looking for another kind of advice?
