playchess.com..how could i get the pgn of my game? - 2008/02/21 17:34 i started playing as a gust at play chess.com...i had some nice game, can anybody teach me how could i get the copy of the pgn of the game i had.im not a paying member of the site

You can access the site two ways: a) by downloading their proprietary interface and get a 30-day free registration; or b) by purchasing a chessbase product like fritz, junior, chessbase light premium, etc. where you can connect to the server after installing their product.
Both the proprietary interface and the chessbase product you buy AUTOMATICALLY SAVES ALL THE GAMES you play at playchess.com. So all you need to do is look for a pgn file (oftentimes saved in a folder called "Internet") in the product to find your saved games.

Re:playchess.com..how could i get the pgn of my ga - 2008/02/24 17:03 thanks.. i download there user interface and can access as a guest player.these means i really cant get a copy of my pgn since i am not using any of there product.there really into penalizing there member who use software assistant against human player.im playing as well at icc but never heard anybody gettin caught using software assistance...thanks again

Re:playchess.com..how could i get the pgn of my ga - 2008/02/25 00:35 just search all the files in th directory where you placed the interface ... it's just like the blitzin interface at icc where even games of guests are automatically saved ... it's hard to believe that the interface is not saving your games even as a guest

Re:playchess.com..how could i get the pgn of my ga - 2008/03/29 17:20 first of all why log in as a guest? you can create a new id using their interface for that you dont have to pay.
payment comes when after certain period they will ask you either to remain as a guest player or get serial number. in the playchess software create a new account rather than log in as a guest.

Re:playchess.com..how could i get the pgn of my ga - 2008/04/16 22:04 guys i really had a hard time finding a way getting the pgn of my games at playchess.com, in icc the pgn of my games is sent directly by icc to my e mail, and in fics you could clip and paste the game result as well it well be sent to youre e mail, now with play chess.com how is it done? are they sending it to e mail too? i want to get and post my games in my blog as well as some masters game but i dont know how, any help well be appreciated
