I don't like that the site is being hacked.
If you are hacking this site to let us know that the software has to be updated: please stop hacking and send an email to the admin about yourt findings.

It baffles me that the real ADMIN remains totally silent. I think the members are entitled to some explanation. What is being done about it?! If it is that easy to tamper with the site, private messages to members can be interfered with as well. Not to mention the possibilities of viruses that could be introduced!

Last time this happened I made
no comment , for fear of throwing
fat on the fire. I did however
read each and every post related
to it. Very carefully . Folks was
upset sure . A lot of their anger
was directed at the folks that
run the site. I saw no insults
hurled . And the "real" Admins.
They was polite to a fault. They
showed a level of tolerance that
is beyond me. As evidenced by the
fact that he was allowed to remain
a member apparently.

The first hack could be
forgiven perhaps.

Chalk it up to lesson learned.

This one is built on false pretences.
An Act Of Spite
Formulated and connived
to disrupt the very people
who all sort of said hey
lesson learned. It has now
become an inside job. Totally
with out merit.

Prosecution is to good for 'em !

This next part should in no way
be perceived as an insult.
Merely a statement of the
facts as I see them. It is
My considered opinion that
the hacker known as Admin.

Should Be Strung Up.
In this case hangen
would be good for 'em.

Hanging him would not be practicable. Banning the name: 'admin' would not work either.
What would be stopping him to subscribe under a new name? Maybe he has several login names as it is.
If the present 'software man' is not able to fix this problem because he is committed to other things, or has not got the expertise, or maybe he just can't be bothered, then surely there must be amongst our membership of some 12000 a few people with skills similar or better than that of our price idiot who strings us along with his childish pranks.
If there is a bad 'leak' in the software, then our email addresses, databases and message bank are not safe. And I for one would prefer not to log in to the site as long as this problem persists.

I have no 'tolerance' for hackers (as was suggested) - hackers are perpetrators and I have no good word for perpetrators.

Admin Person

chessteacher <I hope that's right <The spelling that is.
Also holds an Admin designation.
Plus Softwareman and others I'm sure.
Along with the person who is the
fine sponsor of this site. I'm referring
to the fine folk(s) who's nickle I'm
riding on every time I log-in this site.


Course Dame is the more active Admin.
Someone has to be on point.
She is most esteemed.
Held in the highest regard.

That said.

Tolerance and Tolerate

Are two entirely different things.

Dame you are the most level headed ,
even tempered , understanding Admin
It has been my pleasure to know.
Online or chess elsewhere.

That's the tolerance I was speaking of.

I never meant to imply that you were
of a mind to tolerate hackers or hacking.
