Risk - 2008/07/18 21:58 How often do you risk making a move that ‘feels’ intuitively right but that leads to complex variations and sharp play that you can’t quite analyze enough without wasting too much time?

For example, if you have a choice between a move that you knew was fairly good and definitely safe, or a move that looks very strong but leads to too many variations for you to see through, which do you choose?

Personally I like to take risks in casual games, but often find myself making the safer move in serious play. I need to start trusting my intuition more!
